Not been a particularly great day.
One of the main reasons I am enrolled at KCKCC was because they had a really amazing selection of online classes. I've found that over the years I work independently very well, and I've managed to maintain a decent GPA. However, not having a computer has made things VERY difficult, and now one of my classes has a required project that involved collecting items for a food pantry. Now, I'm not even remotely upset by the cause... my problem is, I don't live in the city where the items will need to go. This will make it VERY hard for me to inspire people to make donations (duh, why donate to the food pantry in THAT city) and for me to get the items to them once they are collected.
The CK meeting went well yesterday. We had about 10 people that came in at one point or another, and each made some kind of contribution. I'm now praying that we get at least 4 people interested in being guild servants, so we can have an election to wind up with three officers.
Went to crochetville and posted responses to several posts about people wanting to make Wow related items. Suggested that they make a toon on both DS and CK. Hopefully that will get us some more players. I think most of us want there to be more people on so we have more social interaction.
As for Flying... I left too late to finish countertops in the kitchen last night, but I did it first thing this morning. My plan is to do two 2-minute Hot Spots tonight when I go home. One is the beading area in the living room and the other is my mail pile in the dining room. I'm kinda scared of both areas, but I know I can tolerate two minutes for each, right??
Larissa and I had plans for dinner, but she called to say she'd accidentally double booked so that's out. Now Evan wants to play wow again... which is kinda odd, but he asked so I'll try to do some RDF runs with him tonight. His mage is 77, so it wouldn't really be all that hard to get him to 80 if he'd just focus. I think my DK is 76, so I can tank and that will let us get some back-to-back runs in. Mike is upset about something. Not sure what, exactly. He got all mad at Tony last night and now he's upset with me. I didn't respond well at all to him wanting to take his computer over to Tony's today, so that's when he got mad at me. However, if he leaves it here, Evan can play on it tonight with me.. otherwise, it's not an option.
Put a couple of rows on my sleeve, then had to tink them back and redo because I managed to skip a K3Tog row. Hate those rows, so apparently I managed to edit them out, which of course was not good. Managed to get a whopping 5 rows done in 90 mins. Maybe I'll reward myself for doing my FLYing by adding a few rows tonight.

Accountability
OK, so I'm being accountable for what I will do. Today I will do:
- Flylady day 5 - write down negative internal messages
Really struggling to get through the marketing reading. The first chapter is sales (which I've been doing for 15 years, and is BORING). Finally finished it, walked around the building twice, carried a bag of mouse bedding to the car, and am ready to tackle the next chapter - Pricing Concepts. Keep trying to frame what I'm reading in terms of the new company I'm building. That will hopefully keep me on track.
- Lead the Close Knit guild meeting to define the group. Remember to tell guildies about buying Vent server.
Completed the agenda and posted it.
Meeting went fabulous. There is so much to discuss, but folks really did work together well and we got a lot accomplished. Now my big concern is making sure Moonie doesn't get burned out.
- Complete my homework for Marketing that's due at midnight
First chapter down, second chapter to go! OK, read 80% of the second chapter and did the homework, but the last 20% of the second chapter was met with brain melt. I realized that I simply wasn't going to gain anything by looking at the words, so I just did the assignment. I really want to read that stuff, cause it does impact development of my business. Just can't do it right now.
- Clean horizontal surfaces in the Kitchen
Stove done. Floor swept. Need to finish countertops and floor.
